Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’s Sehaj Rrajput’s Intense Assault Scene Has an Alia Bhatt’s Highway Connection

Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, starring Bharat Ahlawwat as Raghav and Aayushi Khurrana as Reet, recently showcased one of its most sensitive and hard-hitting sequences. The episode featured Unnati’s character, portrayed by Sehaj Rrajput, facing a traumatic physical assault, making it one of the most emotionally powerful moments of the show so far.

In the episode, Unnati is assaulted by a scammer who has been stalking her, during a party. The scene highlights the intense emotional trauma she experiences after the incident. While it proved to be a crucial turning point in the narrative, the sequence was equally challenging for Sehaj Rrajput, as it marked the first time she performed such a physically and emotionally demanding scene on screen.

Speaking about the experience, Sehaj shared that the sequence involved a lot of physical action, including confronting and pushing the attacker. She credited the director for making the environment comfortable and helping her ease into the scene. Once the camera started rolling, she completely immersed herself in the moment. Although the scene affected her emotionally and took a toll on her, she believes that fully absorbing emotions is the most beautiful part of being an artist.

Sehaj further revealed that Alia Bhatt’s performance in Highway served as a source of inspiration for her. She recalled the scene where Alia’s character opens up about the assault she endured for years, which Sehaj had previously performed during her acting classes. Having practiced those emotions earlier helped her tap into the intensity required for the scene, though she admitted that even thinking about such situations in real life is frightening.

Going forward, the show will depict Unnati’s vulnerable emotional state as she struggles with panic attacks triggered by memories of the assault. How Reet and Raghav stand by her and help her cope with the trauma will be a major highlight in the upcoming episodes of Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile.
